What we collect. Cloudwright is a static publication. We do not have accounts, a login, a comment system or a contact form, and we do not ask you for any personal information. There is no cookie set by this site itself.

Advertising. This site carries Google AdSense advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

DoubleClick and the DoubleClick DART cookie. Google's advertising system may use the DoubleClick DART cookie to serve ads to users based on their visits to this site and other sites on the internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google Ads Settings page. Where required, advertising partners are listed in ads.txt in the site root.

Server logs. Our web server records standard access logs, including IP address, user agent, request path and timestamp. These logs are used for security, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic statistics only. They are rotated and deleted on a rolling basis and are not merged with any other dataset.

Analytics. This site does not run a behavioural analytics profile of individual visitors. If aggregate statistics are enabled they are configured without advertising features and without cross-site tracking.

Your rights under the GDPR. If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Because we do not hold personal data about visitors, the practical scope of those rights usually concerns the advertising and logging described above. Requests should be sent to [email protected] and will be answered within 30 days. The legal basis for any processing we do carry out is legitimate interest in operating and securing the site.

Your rights under the CCPA. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what categories of personal information are collected, to request deletion, to opt out of the sale of personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. Cloudwright does not sell personal information. Third-party advertising partners may collect information as described above; to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information by those partners, use the Global Privacy Control signal in your browser and the Google Ads Settings link above.

Children. This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes. If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with a new last-updated date. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
